To our orchestra families,
I wanted to share an email I received following a holiday performance by our Chamber Orchestra on Tuesday evening.
" I work at the WellStar East Cobb Health Park and helped serve the cookies, water and cider to the guests and your orchestra participants last night and I believe it was the best of the 3 Tree Lightings we have had. The music was wonderful and you could tell they were happy performing. Most importantly too was that their manners were impeccable. Every single one said please and thanked us for their cookies, drinks and treat bags. What a delightful group you have and I know their parents are mostly responsible for their manners but you and your assistant are also!"
Mr. Bitinas and I are so lucky and grateful to have the opportunity to interact with, inspire, and work with your amazing children. Of course teaching middle school presents its challenges, but you are doing an outstanding job raising your children.
We are in this together. We thank you for stressing the importance of character and how far manners can go. When your children thank us as they walk out of our doors after class, it truly makes our day. We cannot thank you enough for your continuous support. Wishing you and your family all the best this holiday season!
