We made it to another break! What a fantastic last couple of weeks!
LGPE: Outstanding job to our 8th graders and Chamber orchestra for a stellar display of not only musical performance but behavior as well. Your directors and chaperones were incredibly proud of you! We cannot thank our parent chaperones enough for helping us at Pope High School. Video recordings will soon be ready on our youtube channel Students can access recordings now in the listening area.
7th at the Symphony: 5 buses of 7th graders took on the Atlanta Symphony and The Varsity on February 8th. What a whirlwind of a day! Our students were spectacular in the audience-well done!! The Varsity was quite the experience. Thank you for your patience! Again, we couldn't have done it without our amazing parent chaperones. We love providing you these experiences, but it is a team effort.
6th Grade: Your concert is coming up soon! Take home reminders were sent out yesterday. March 7th: 6-1 reports at 6:15pm, concert begins at 6:30pm
6-2 reports at 7:15, concert begins at 7:30pm

*Parents are highly encouraged to attend this concert. Students will perform three selections and be judged by string education experts. In addition, a 4th judge will run a sight-reading evaluation for the students as well. 8th grade LGPE often falls during the day so it is difficult to attend for many families, hence the reason we encourage your attendance this year if possible.
All Orchestra Families: Have a restful, relaxing February break! One more break and then onto summer!
